What is KPI Optimization?

If you’re measuring the success of your campaign by conversions, KPI Optimization tool will recommend your content where it's most likely to convert. Marketers who have used this tool experienced an average of 36% uplift in conversion rates. 



Enabling KPI Optimization allows our network to narrow in and replicate click patterns that led to a conversion for your campaign, boosting the overall rate. KPI Optimization can be used in two ways: Cost Per Click (CPC) mode or Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) mode.

Under CPC Mode

CPC mode is beneficial if you’re seeking to increase your conversions while also maintaining traffic volume. Under this setting, your bid falls within a percent range that will either be higher in cases where conversion is likely, or lower in cases where the network is bidding for traffic. For the best converting sources, the CPC rate may be up to 50% higher than your set rate.  Under this mode, changing the CPC in your dashboard will also shift the percent range our network is able to dynamically bid at.

Under CPA Mode

CPA mode is beneficial when pursuing a CPA goal. Under this setting, all bidding is done automatically within the constraints of the CPA goal you’ve set. The CPC will be determined according to the average conversion rate of your campaign and the likelihood of conversions across sources. In this mode, modifications to the CPC will not be considered since this can adversely affect KPI Optimization.

Both of these functions rely on dynamic bidding. Once our algorithms see an opportunity on highly a converting source, a higher CPC will be used, increasing the chance for a click. If our algorithms determine that a conversion isn't likely, then a lower CPC will be used for the recommendation.
